No. LifeRegistry is not insurance, a funeral plan, a savings product, or an investment scheme. It is a membership-based administrative registry that operates on pooled contributions and discretion, not guarantees.

Members pay a one-time joining fee from £50 and an annual membership fee from £150, charged automatically to their card each year. Your exact fees depend on your age band when you join. Contributions are pooled to support Registry operations. Subject to eligibility, rules, and available reserves, LifeRegistry may make a discretionary contribution of up to £6,000 towards funeral costs.

"Pooled" means all contributions are combined and not held in individual accounts. "Discretionary" means any contribution is considered case-by-case, is not guaranteed, and depends on eligibility, Registry Rules, and available reserves at the time.

Your support grows the longer you're a member. Year one is your foundation year, you set up your Digital Vault and get your affairs organised from day one. From year two (months 13 to 36) your family can receive up to £3,000 of funeral support, rising to the full £6,000 from year three (month 37 onwards). All contributions are made under our clear, published Registry Rules.

You can end your membership at any time by letting us know in writing. Please note it's permanent: your membership and benefits are removed and cannot be reinstated, and all fees are non-refundable, there are no refunds if you leave. Export anything you need from your Digital Vault before you go.

Our published rules keep everything fair and transparent for every member. If we ever need to update them, we give members fair notice in advance, and changes always apply going forward, never retroactively to events that have already happened.
